This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a very-good to excellent 35mm source print.
Uncharacteristically for a Warner Archive release, the film is accompanied by a soundtrack compiled from music library cues and not an original music score. While serviceable, the lack of original music is a disappointment.
This is our recommended home video edition of the film.
