This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a good-to-very-good 16mm reduction print that has some moderately modulated exposure fluctuations and plugged-up shadows making reading some intertitles a challenge. The film’s action in the natural-speed, full-frame video transfer, sis still reasonably easy to follow.
The film is accompanied by a compiled soundtrack of prerecorded film music from the 1930s.
Well, for now, this is our recommended home video edition of the film.
